There’s more to designing the right water colour than simply selecting a tile.

Whether you want to create sparkling turquoise waters or a striking emerald-green lagoon; several factors need to be considered to craft the right colour.

💧The depth and volume of the water will affect the colour. The more water the bluer the water will appear. The deeper the water, the darker the water colour will be.

🌳The more plants surrounding the pool, the greener and darker the water will appear. To achieve clearer water, minimal plants are best.

☀️More sunlight will make the water appear clearer and brighter. The blue reflection of the sky will affect your water colour. Cloudy days will change the water colour as the clouds filter the sun’s rays and dampen hughes that might look brighter on a clearer day.

The transformation and refurbishment of the Serpen

The transformation and refurbishment of the Serpentin Building is a captivating story.

🏢 Right in the heart of Pantin, Paris, an incredible collaboration took place between Ezarri and the Serpentin building, to revive a true piece of architectural splendour.

Ezarri installed a staggering 20,000 m² of different mosaic colour ranges, creating a breathtaking fade-out effect on the Serpentin building.

This monumental façade stretches an impressive 2 km in length, a true testament to the magnitude of this architectural masterpiece. 🤍

Originally designed by Émile Aillaud in the 1950s, the Serpentin building is a 20th-century Heritage Listed marvel and the second-largest building in Europe. Over the years, it has undergone several renovations.

🏢 The extensive modern renovation spearheaded by the renowned Architecture Cabinet RVA and construction company GTM Bâtiment aimed not only to refurbish the façade but also to enhance social accommodation, aligning with modern expectations while preserving the architectural integrity.

What an absolute show-stopper.
